Tell me a story

Tell me a story, Pew.

What kind of story, child?

A story with a happy ending.

There's no such thing in all the world.

As a happy ending?

As an end.

  1. I was moved by Jeanette Winterson's novel, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, which I lent to an once-intimate friend that I decided not to have any contact with, for I had been emotionally exhausted in the relationship. Reading the poem above and spotting the familiar name of the author did remind me of those days when I was naive and still able to expect for so-called soulmate. Btw, she never returned me that novel, which might be the very reason that I feel lost, lol. I do miss the book!
